On August 9, 2026, the “Dual-Olympic Beijing · Melodies of China” International Charity Concert for Children and Youth with Autism was successfully held at the Heyuan Museum in Beijing, China.

Bringing together music, international cultural exchange, and compassion, this inspiring event united distinguished guests, artists, volunteers, and families of children with autism in a heartfelt celebration of talent, inclusion, and hope.

Ms. Lisa Chen , Founding President of the Art Center For Autistic Children & Youth was honored to serve as a co-organizer of this meaningful event, alongside the Public Cultural Affairs Committee of the Chinese Culture Promotion Society, the China World Peace Foundation, and the Women and Children’s Affairs Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy.

The concert aimed to build bridges between cultures through music, promote international friendship, and create opportunities for children and young people with autism to express themselves, develop confidence, and participate more fully in society.

One of the highlights of the concert was the remarkable performance by the Chengdu ASD Extraordinary Youth Band, together with 20 young performers with autism and their parents, led by Ms. Lisa Chen.

Through beautiful singing, instrumental performances, and heartfelt artistic expression, these talented young musicians demonstrated their creativity, courage, and passion for music. Their performances touched the hearts of the audience and revealed the extraordinary potential within every child.

The musical program featured beloved Chinese songs, including “Hard Work Leads to Success,” “My Chinese Heart,” “Daylily Flowers,” and “My Hometown Is in China.” Each performance celebrated family bonds, cultural heritage, perseverance, and friendship across borders.

More than a concert, this event was a meaningful celebration of international friendship, cultural exchange, and the transformative power of music.

It provided a valuable platform for children and young people with autism to share their talents, connect with others, and shine with confidence, while encouraging greater public awareness and appreciation of their unique abilities.

At our foundation, we believe that music is more than an art form — it is a bridge to confidence, communication, inclusion, and personal growth.
